H1N1 Resources – Fall 2009

The following resources are available regarding H1N1 for your agency: 

On the Department of Health and Senior Services home page (DHSS)-- http://www.dhss.mo.gov/,  there is a large green box labeled Latest Flu Information that links to http://www.dhss.mo.gov/BT_Response/_H1N1Flu.html (flu specific web-site).

The web-site for Local Public Health Agencies & Services is http://www.dhss.mo.gov/LPHA/index.html and a searchable directory by county is here http://www.dhss.mo.gov/LPHA/LPHAs.html.  This is a good resource to find out when vaccines are available in your area.

The CDC portal for 2009 H1N1 flu is http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/. There are tons of materials available  One tool that is very useful is the toolkit for employers and employees -- http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/business/toolkit/.
There are many CDC sites up for children, pregnant women, other categories of high risk, schools, universities, etc. Many materials are also available in multiple languages.
